Hello and welcome to our family!! We have designed this blog to keep all of you updated on our family and to give hope for families of "O" babies. It continues to be a long road for our little girl
and we would like to share our journey with you.

Guess What?

It's official..... Kalista's getting discharged tomorrow.

We spent most of today going over what we are supposed to do regarding her feedings, taking care of her G-tube and going over discharge paperwork. We are in the process of slowly taking back all our "baggage" that we moved in over the few weeks- toys, clothes, Boppy and all her belongings.

Our shield is almost ready! The tummy shield for her car seat needed a little retouching for the final fit. Check it out in the picture below! Isn't it cute? Jesus at SCOPe Orthotics and Prosthetics did such a fabulous job! So fashionable with ladybugs and flowers. He is a tummy shell master!

Kalista looks like she is ready to make the big move, but will miss her neighbors and all her nurses, practitioners and doctors.
