Surgery for Lawsyn

Lawsyn had a sebaceous nevus on his right firehead wgen he was born. We thought it was a scratch at first since he had a tough time coming out and had a few bruises, but this "scratch" never went away.

In March, we saw our dermatologist who confirmed it was a sebaceous nevus and recommended that we consider removing it because it had the potential to grow and become an issue as Lawsyn goes through puberty.

July 16th ended up our big day for surgery to have the nevus removed.  Dr. Raloh Holmes was our plastic surgeon.  He happens to be one of the other plastic surgeons in the same group as Dr. Amanda Gosman,  Kali's plastic surgeon.  Kali was not shy... she showed Dr. Holmes and his residents her belly with pride.

Lawsyn did fine with the 45 minute procedure and even quicker in the recovery room. Lawsyn didn't even seemed phased by all this one bit.
